Darien Couple Celebrates 70th Anniversary

- Joe and Violet Luekea celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on Tuesday, Feb. 7 at Carmelite Carefree Village, 8419 Bailey Road in Darien. The 93-year-olds are residents there together. The couple also dated for five years before being married.
